We are a family organization based in the metropolitan Milwaukee Area. We have been in existence since 1983 and we are one of the larger GWRRA chapter in the state of Wisconsin. Besides our love of Gold Wings, we love to have fun. You will commonly see our members riding together and doing non-motorcycling events. We enjoy meeting new people and we accept new members with open arms. If you have a technical question, most likely someone in our group will be able to assist. Our activities include safety fairs, weekend camping/hotel trips, winter getaways to fight those winter non-biking blues, fundraisers, dinner rides, and the list goes on and on. If you happen to be in the neighborhood on a social night, stop in, we’d love to see you.

FROM THE DIRECTORS:
June is such a wonderful month in Wisconsin. All the trees are fully leafed out, the temps are finally warm enough so we can count on being able to ride comfortably most of the time, and riding season is in full swing. To add to all that, this year we have the added bonus of finally getting past the worst of the Covid restrictions. It’s so refreshing to be able to see people’s faces again. Smiles have been sorely missed. It’s taken a lot longer than we expected originally, but we’re finally getting back to what passed for normal over a year ago. Of course everything is not the same as it had been. We still can’t have our socials at the WaterStone bank as we had for years. They haven’t made the community room available yet, and it’s undetermined if the ever will. Since it’s summer again, we’re leaning toward holding our socials outdoors at local parks, (particularly those with beer gardens where we can get food and beverages). But as with all outdoor activities, they’re subject to the whims of Mother Nature. We’ll keep an eye on the weather forecasts and make other arrangements if necessary. As we’ve been doing for over a year now, members will be notified via email of the location and time. Please keep a watch on your email, because it may be necessary to make changes at the last minute. The 2020 Chapter G fundraiser became a casualty of the Covid shutdowns and unfortunately, we’re not going to be able to hold one this year either. Sportland 2, where we’d held our fundraisers for years in conjunction with their annual open house/bike show has been sold. It’s now called Milwaukee Powersports. The new management isn’t planning on any events where they’d want us to supply food and beverages, so at least this year we’re not having a fund raiser again. We’re looking at other options for the future. When we know what’s going to happen you’ll all be notified. Now that things are really opening up again, there’ll be many more options available for places to go for rides. We’ll be making plans and letting everyone know when we’ve got things set. Have a great month of June, put lots of miles on the bike, and as always, “Keep the shiny side up and the dirty side down”!
