We are a family organization based in the metropolitan Milwaukee Area. We have been in existence since 1983 and we are one of the larger GWRRA chapter in the state of Wisconsin. Besides our love of Gold Wings, we love to have fun. You will commonly see our members riding together and doing non-motorcycling events. We enjoy meeting new people and we accept new members with open arms. If you have a technical question, most likely someone in our group will be able to assist. Our activities include safety fairs, weekend camping/hotel trips, winter getaways to fight those winter non-biking blues, fundraisers, dinner rides, and the list goes on and on. If you happen to be in the neighborhood on a social night, stop in, we’d love to see you.

FROM THE DIRECTORS:
It’s hard to know what to write for this month’s newsletter. These are such unprecedented times. COVID-19 has turned everything on its head. As is obvious all the events listed above are tentative. We’re trying to be positive and listed them as originally planned. Unfortunately, it’s almost certain the April events won’t happen. We can only hope and pray that the worst of the problems will be over by May and some or all the planned events will go on as listed. We’ll update everyone by email when the events are due as to whether or not we’ll be able to actually do them. Looking for something a little lighter, we want to share a couple lines we got from a friend. “Wouldn’t you know it, gas is finally easier to afford, and we have nowhere to go.” and “ I really didn’t plan to give up this much for Lent!”. On a much brighter note, March started out really nicely for us. We were able to hold our annual “Winter Get-Away in Baraboo from the 6th through the 8th . As usual there were some games played, we had some good sheepshead games and a few adult beverages were consumed.
Kristen had some fun things for us to do and she had a really interesting lady speak to us about her experiences as an ostrich farmer. It was a wonderful way to start the month. Seems like things went downhill after that. We’re hopeful that April ends on a better note than it’s starting with. We’re all in this together so we’ll just hang in and keep in touch as best we can and pray that none of us have to deal with this lousy virus.
We’ll see you all as soon as possible.
