We are a family organization based in the metropolitan Milwaukee Area. We have been in existence since 1983 and we are one of the larger GWRRA chapter in the state of Wisconsin. Besides our love of Gold Wings, we love to have fun. You will commonly see our members riding together and doing non-motorcycling events. We enjoy meeting new people and we accept new members with open arms. If you have a technical question, most likely someone in our group will be able to assist. Our activities include safety fairs, weekend camping/hotel trips, winter getaways to fight those winter non-biking blues, fundraisers, dinner rides, and the list goes on and on. If you happen to be in the neighborhood on a social night, stop in, we’d love to see you.

FROM THE DIRECTORS:
It’s great to be in April again. The spring flowers start to come up, the robins show up in force again, and the temperatures really start to rise.
April is always a better month for riding than any time since October. If you haven’t gotten the bike out of storage and ready to ride, you sure want to do it now. There are always days when you can’t help but get on the bike an put on some miles. Of course there are always a few days when it’s not so nice outside, but it’s still one of the best months of the year to live in Wisconsin.
We want to welcome new member Tony Martinez who joined us in March. He’s eagerly awaiting the completion of his 2021 Goldwing trike. We’re certain he’ll enjoy it more than his previous ride (a Harley trike.)
Unfortunately, we’re still under some of the state and city mandated COVID restrictions, so we don’t have a place to meet for our May social yet. Once we’ve found a place, we’ll let everyone know via email. The good news is it appears things are getting much better, and hopefully we can return to what used to be normal behavior fairly soon.
Things are also uncertain concerning our 2021 fund raiser. Sportland 2, where we held it, in the past has been sold and is now called Milwaukee Power Sports. The new manager is planning a grand opening in the middle of June, but at this point he doesn’t know whether he wants us to provide refreshments as we did in the past. When we know, we’ll let you know.
Once the uncertainty we’ve been living with decreases, we can start to make plans for rides and other outings. We definitely want 2021 to be more fun than 2020 was.
Hoping to see you all soon.
